Zolang ik mij herinner stond de RTT telefooncentrale eigenlijk niet op de Groenstraat (Misschien in een latere fase), maar eerder langs de N78 of Rijksweg te Maasmechelen. Zie foto in bijlage uit Google Maps, waar de RTT initialen nog te lezen zijn aan het huidig DVV kantoor.
